I love the right now, and I love planning out the future, but I'm the first to admit that it can be hard to leave behind the past. It's hard to leave, not just the good things like good relationships, and friends, and fun memories, it can be just as hard to let go of the bad memories as well. Memories haunt me sometimes. There might be a day when i just cannot escape the memories of the past telling me I will fail, telling me I am weak, telling me I am afraid. Maybe a day will come when I find a way to turn the ghosts of the past into an armor for the future, but for right now, they still drag me down.
