THE BEGINNING: I started my career busking on the streets of London, when a four-day trip to the UK to see Paul McCartney turned into years. Jamming with some musician friends, I became so fascinated with the bass guitar that back in Hungary I went to music college and even got a private teacher to learn more. My bass career got underway through playing smoke-filled blues pubs and then smarter venues. PROFESSIONAL YEARS: I turned professional in 2005 when I became a full-time member of the Hungarian band: SID. SID's style was inspired by British contemporary indie pop, rock music. Over the years we have played more than 500 concerts at the forefront of the Hungarian music scene and have been on tour in Europe several times. PRESENT DAY - LONDON: I moved back to London in 2010 having been invited to join an upcoming British band called JUNKSTAR. JUNKSTAR are spending early 2011 recording album material with Dave. M. Allen (The Cure, Depeche Mode) and Jess Corcoran (Maximo Park, Swervedriver, Boy George) - for their eagerly anticipated debut. Besides JUNKSTAR I also perform live as a session musician and work in the studio with great producers, such as John Gallen (Uriah Heep, Motorhead, Queen, George Benson, Incognito, Billie Ocean) or Andy Wright (Simply Red, Luciano Pavarotti, Annie Lennox, David Bowie, Tom Jones, Natalia Imbruglia) with whom I had the great experience to work in the ABBEY ROAD STUDIOS last year. INTERNATIONAL: In 2011 I've been asked to perform live on a European tour with Omega Rhapsody. Introducing a symphonic-rock album of the most successful Hungarian band: Omega with full live orhestra on stage.
