About me: I'm a new resident of San Antonio! I began taking ballroom dancing lessons when I was 16 years old, at a studio in Dayton, Ohio. At 20, I turned pro and took the certification exam to teach the bronze syllabus in American Smooth and Latin.
I have since taught a variety of ballroom classes. I have also taught private lessons and public group classes. Since having my three children I have taken some time off, but thankfully dancing is like riding a bike - pretty hard to forget!
I really "came of age" in the dance world in the late 1990's, when swing dancing and salsa suddenly became popular again. I frequented many swing venues and learned a lot of the Lindy Hop and Salsa. With the more recent popularity due to several television programs, I have set out to offer an affordable and fun ballroom environment.
I really enjoy teaching my own students and watching them gain confidence and skill. :)
