All time favorite: Douglas Adam's "Last Chance to See." A few others... Peter Pan (AND The Little White Bird), Harry Potter (of course), and the His Dark Materials Trilogy (Nothing like a recounting of Paradised Lost follow a severely underaged Eve figure...) I read a lot, but I get sucked into the non-fiction world becuase it makes me feel like I'm educating myself. "Adventures in Screentrade" and "Which lie did I tell?" by the honorable William Goldman come to mind as well as "How to Keep your Volkswagen Alive for the Compleat Idiot." Currently wading through heavy analysis of Dante's Inferno (Using Inferno, Pinsky edition) for a project of a mysterious nature.Heroes

About me:
I just moved to LA from Orange Country where I spent the last two years studying Screenwriting and giving Chapman University all of my money... oh. An Disneyland. I gave Disneyland lots of money, too. I'm an Arizona native who wandered out a little further west with two cats, a boy, and way more books than I have bookshelves. I have a 1973 superbeetle which I try to keep running and I'm learning with each repair how to be a little bit better. Oh... and I'm a big comic book junkie. I just spent two years interning for Dark Horse Entertainment, reading any comic I wanted and working their booth at comic con. I've been spoiled rotten. :) One day, I'd like to get paid for my writing, but right now I get paid talking people into seeing sneak previews of movies for market research. An upside of the job is that I get to talk about film to my heart's content. A downside is that I spend a lot of my time in malls, talking to people who don't know what I mean when I say "It's the Little Miss Sunshine of this year!" Life... is an awfully big adventure, however, and I look forward to seeing what's next in store for me. **Addendum! I'm starting a writer's group in WEST LA. This is for Screenwriters, novelists, short story writers, even poetry. So, if you need a group, send me a message!**Who I'd like to meet:
