Ladies and gentlemen allow me to introduce the queens of sultry noise, the sisters of mercy, the saints of damaged souls, high society’s hangover and the hen night for Calamity Jane. The latter day’s eminent, prominent and decadent ladies: Katzenjammer. Drink dear rebels, and drink again.
Katzenjammer’s musical underground cult is carried forward by the sound of instruments such as accordion, mandolin, guitar, piano, balalaika bass, glockenspiel, trumpet, kazoo, melodica, drums and banjo to just name some. They play these instruments with fire in their bellies, fever in their fingers and their hearts in their throats. And the vocals, the vocals of this band dear audience are the broad paint strokes on the colourful night sky where you dance your wildest dance in your finest clothes. Katzenjammer kick the clichés so hard in the stomach that they bend over, turn inside out and become new vessels for new people with old preferences. Our blessed friends are self-taught on the aforementioned instruments.
Katzenjammer arrived in their cage a short while ago and are now shaking the bars in a creative and fertile clattering. The animal trainer has taken two steps back.
Up to now the intense ladies have played songs by their compadre Mats Rybø in addition to their own and some co-written songs.
Take off your skin and dance around in your bones.

My girlfriend and I saw you perform before Elvis Costello last sunday and we were absolutely BLOWN AWAY (we were seated pretty close to the stage in about the center second or third row, I have a mohawk and she was dancing the entire time, haha). We love your music and style, and hope you girls can come back stateside some time and perform!
Your cover of Man of Constant Sorrow was mind-blowingly incredible, by the by.
Your music is absolutely stunning. Your energy is so strong, and comes through in all that you ladies do. I was so suprised to come here on myspace and find you had so few friends/fans for such an amazing band. Well, I know for certain that that will change soon! Something so fantastic can't go unnoticed for long!
I don't understand. Ever since I saw your show at the Euronosic festival in Groningen, way back in January, I've been telling people that you gals are absolutely fit for a gig at the Lowlands festival in Holland in August. But you still haven't been announced. How can this be?
All I can say is... WOW! Myself, my boyfriend, and a friend all caught your show at Bonnaroo on a whim and are now all huge fans!! Not to mention that you brought all three of us to tears of joy because your show was so much fun and so musically amazing! We have been telling all our friends about Katzenjammer :-) Hopefully you ladies start touring the states more!!!

HEI! :D Hilsen Benjamin ;)
