Barrett - (upright bass/vocals) Formerly a member of the group "Pai'ea", Barrett brings a positive contribution to Kaukahi with his vocal talent and skill on the upright bass, bringing depth and strength of the group.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kawika - (guitar/vocals) Kawika has been on the scene since 1978 as a musician with Chucky boy Chock, Palani Vaughan, Del Beazly, Na Leo Pilimehana and Slack key Masters, to mention a few. He has contributed his talents on some 55+ recordings, including “Curious George Sing Along Lullabies” with Jack Johnson. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Walt - (‘Ukulele/vocals) Continuing in the style and uniqueness that made Uncle Moe and brother IZ household names in Hawaii, Walt undoubtedly carries the same mixture of Aloha, humor, love for his people and his 'aina. In the timbre of his voice one can sense and feel that the mantle placed on that family lives on. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dean - (guitar/vocals) Also a former member of the group "Pai'ea", Dean has had music infused into his life from a very young age. He has matured and polished his craft to bring a solid contribution into the overall sound of Kaukahi.
“Kaukahi” is the journey of four diverse Hawaiian men on different paths, all destined to meet. They joined in 2004 for one purpose: to live and share aloha wherever they go. This journey continues as their friendship deepens. The vision becomes clearer as they become more comfortable with who they were created to be, tapping into deep inner resources while at the same time connected by the Spirit. Whether singing, talking story, or laughing together, their synergy is obvious. Faith, and their love for one another, their families, Hawai’i, and the nations, is the common thread that keeps them bound with “singleness of purpose”.

"Ticklin' The Strings" by Sweet Hollywaiians
Amazing Japanese hot string band playing 1920's, 30's, 40's style hawaiian, swing, calypso, blues, italian music and originals, featuring vintage instruments.3 songs with Robert Armstrong and Tony Marcus(from Robert Crumb and His Cheap Suit Serenaders)
"The Sweet Hollywaiians have probably the best feel for this 20's music of any string band working today. They manage the rare feat of sounding relaxed even when their playing is hot, are top notch musicians with tasteful arrangements and a full, rich, warm sound.Plus, they have a nice gamut of tunes, from King Nawahi to Giovanni Vicari to Bobby Leecan. See them live, if you can, for an unforgettable experience. If you can't, buy their Cds!" ~ Terry Zwigoff
