ABOUT KAWEKIU
Aloha Everybody, This is Auntie Kawekiu First of all, just to let you know, we are a young Band from the Big Island. This a very,very,very, entertaining band. Some of us been together for almost a year. Watching them grow through alot of band members, if you are a musician you know exactly what we are talking about. We performed alot of gigs. We're good for whatever event or parties you request for. We play from 45min. to 5 hours of nonstop music. We play alot of cover songs ranging from island reggae, old school, to R&B songs on the radio, and our own originals. We have performed with Big Bands in concerts like Ekolu, Maoli, Island Harmony, Braddah Cuz, Braddah Walter, Ooklah th Moc, Kohomua, Vizine(now known as Inik), Ma'acho and the Cool Connections, Hookoa, Hytown, Inna Vision, Top Shelf, Confrontations and lot's more, Also performed at the Holloween Block Party last year in 2008, opened for Iration and will be performing again this year, It will be a Big Event, If you think Hoolaulea is Big at Bay Front than you need to come and watch on October 31st 2009 in Kailua Kona, so don't miss it! We also just won the Battle of the Bands, thanks to Hilo Jaycees and Native FM radio, Craig for doing the sounds and giving us the opportunity!
