MTV Base Chart topping R&B sensation Kay B returns with his highly anticipated debut album, Look No Further (KNK ENTERTAINMENT). The follow-up album to his single “Call Cupid” which received much accolade worldwide is packed with smooth ballads and slow jams, as well as up-tempo tracks set to keep the clubs and parties bumping. The album “Look No Further” also showcases Kay B’s smooth vocals as well as his writing ability as he wrote on all the songs on album with co-writer “seanKuaye”. Just like on “Call Cupid”, Kay B continues to tackle issues on love, life, sex and relationship encounters as seen on the sensual love making title track “Look No Further” and the infectious ballad “Impress You”. Kay B states: ”I like to talk about issues most people go through in relationships but keep on the hush most of the time” and he expresses this no better than on his forth coming single “Cheater’s Dilemma” where he talks about discovering his girl cheated on him before he was even caught cheating on her, yet both still remain fully in love and can’t decide how to move forward in the relationship. Kay B also showcases his versatility on the vocally charged up-tempo German produced “Spotlight” and “Can You Keep It Up”.
After a year of performances alongside some of today’s big R&B acts such as Ne-Yo, Chris Brown, Bobby V and Jagged Edge, the stage finally now seems set for the release of this much anticipated album. With fans making their own personal videos of snippets of songs from the album on “youtube”, “myspace”, “facebook” etc “Look No Further” is set to be an album to look out for.
Kay B made headlines on the music scene last year when the music video for his debut single “Call Cupid” debuted at No.3 on the MTV Base Chart and propelled to No.1 within a week, where it remained as No.1 consecutively for three weeks and remained on the chart for a total of 8 weeks.
His debut album Look No Further is out in December 2007 on his own imprint KNK ENTERTAINMENT.
