**Me with some of the coolest cats in town!!!!**
Kay’D (Kayleigh-Dawn Larter) has decided that her future lies in country music and loves to entertain people. Although Kayleigh has been singing since the age of five, it has only been in the last few years that her interest in Country Music has increased. After viewing The Judds ‘Love Can Build a Bridge’,she was transfixed on the true passion in country music and the true meaning it has to people’s lives. She made the decision there and then that country was right for her, to not only reflect on her life and the importance of those around to support her, but most of all to express her feelings and share this with country fans and other country artists.
With large influences from the likes of Gretchen Wilson, Lorrie Morgan and Billie Jo Spears, Kay’D’ tries to entertain those country fans with their favourite aspect of country.
After her upbringing in the town of Lowestoft (Suffolk) and her non - musical background, Kayleigh was certain that her talents had to be used wisely and to the benefits of all country fans. The only route she could take would be the one that involved a lot of patience and all the hope of success at entertaining her audiences.
After much torment and teasing from the people around her about country music being a ‘waste of time’, ‘a dead end’ and just plain ‘rubbish’, Kay’D’s determination has reached its highest. Last year she performed at many country festivals across the UK to increase her promotion and just to be heard. This was shown to be successful as from this she has been rebooked at a selection of these festivals and has been recommended widely to both clubs and festivals.
Kay’D has become a cheeky friend of some of the big names of British country music and festival organisers not just for her determination but most importantly, for her beautiful voice that either brings a lump to the throat or just a broad smile to the face.

I think you will find that your interest in Country Music started when your big brother bought a copy of "In Pieces" by Garth Brooks! I still remember you trying to join in with "Ain't Goin1 Down ('Til The Sun Comes Up)"
I hear it was a great gig at the great north, unfortunately it was the only night I missed :-( hope I get to see you soon though so don't forget us Northerners!
