Linda Swift-Author



Linda Swift began writing at ten, first poems, next a play and wrote her first romance novel at sixteen. Then life happened. She married, had a son and daughter(that would be me), went to college and began a teaching career. . . in that order. She would not have missed any of those experiences for the world but her desire to be an author lived on in hibernation.

In time, she resumed writing poetry and attended the Jesse Stuart Creative Writing Workshop. Here, for the first time, she met other serious authors. This led to writing short stories and articles and being published.

Her dream, however, was to write books so she wrote her second novel, and third, and ... finally succeeded in getting a book published. And another one. Unfortunately, her publisher closed the line she wrote for when her third book was to be released, resulting in an unplanned hiatus.

I'm proud to announce that she is now beginning a new career writing E-books and is very excited to be a part of the electronic publishing industry. Her first book is a wonderful romance titled, "Let Nothing You Dismay." It was recently No. 2 on the top ten bestseller list of holiday books at The Wild Rose Press website. www.thewildrosepress.com (left side,click holiday books) Also, Linda has at least three new ebook releases coming out in 2009. Watch for "Circle of Love", "Single Status", and "Maid of the Midlands".

________ Cruising "Jeff Bates" Fans supporting "MBTS"



Talk about some "good people." Check out the group of Jeff Bates Fans pictured with Wesley on a cruise to the Bahamas that promoted the signing of Jeff Bates to a new record label, "Black River Music Group."

How very kind of them to get together as a group and wear their "MBTS" shirts as they were boarding the cruise ship! They promoted lots of "good vibes" during that whole trip, so to all of them I am very grateful and wanted to share this fabulous photo.
