My Mom named me Kathleen Marie when I was born. That was in Dorchester, Massachusetts in the waning moments of the 1960's. I spent my youth in that place, and dutifully trudged my way through the better part of 12 years while being trained to become a secretary by The Sisters Of Notre Dame. The universe intervened when I got saved by rock and roll music and toured the world for 10 years with my favorite mates in the band Letters To Cleo. My current life is in Los Angeles, where I have not so much raged against the machine, as I have become a slippery cog in it.
I make records. Sometimes I help other people make records. My friend Michelle and I have a company called Art Is War that does what record companies used to do but do not anymore, which is to cultivate a community of producers, writers and artists where songs get written, music gets recorded and sweet, sweet love gets made all over the world.
I like drinking alcohol but I hate cats. Go figure.
