Kayla Kavanagh is a solo artist with a twist. The 29 year old Irish singer/songwriter performs live with an array of instruments, wires and technology, taking the audience on a journey from simple acoustic music to full technology-led electronica. Kayla recently qualified with an MA in Digital Performance, and is now recording her debut album, fusing her traditional roots with live music technology. Renowned for her outdoor gigs from her 1976 VW Kampervan, Kayla's unique musical abilities allow her to combine her skills with instruments and technology, becoming a 'one woman band'.
Kayla will be touring the UK this summer following the release of her debut single and album. Kayla is booked to play at three venues at this year's Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August, and at eight VW Festivals from the Kampervan.

Roland FP7 keyboard, electric violin, guitar, hammered dulcimer, flute, Apple PowerBook, Ableton Live, Akai E2 Headrush, Boss RC-50 Looping Station and Digitech MV-5 Midi Vocalist.
Kayla also works as a composer writing musical scores for film and theatre. She has also recently achieved Pro Tools Certification and is working on a new album recording with Engineer/Producer Nigel Pease, with whom she also works collaboratively on composition projects. Writing for both film and theatre, Kayla has extensive experience composing in classical and contemporary genres.

koolies we were all like "where you gone?" just vanished lol. you seem to be doing pretty good yourself with the music too, doin an irish festival loads o gigs and your face is on a poster size of a house lol.
