It just seems like a better fit.
And whenever I was reading the books, I could actually FEEL the love between Bella and Jacob.
I couldn't feel that with her and Edward.

And...well...I guess I just don't like Edward because he seems too...perfect.
He walks perfectly, talks perfectly, looks perfect, etc. And it's really annoying.
But with Jacob, he's quirky and it's really cute.
I just think he's adorable. <3

They did a really good job sticking to the original story line.
The changes that they did make were really small and didn't make much of a difference.
And, I tell you what, the almost-first-kiss scenes with Bella and Jacob made me so mad. Especially the second time, whn their lips actually touched...
I wanted them to kiss so bad ):
