Suzanne Vega, Aimee Mann, Paula Cole, Sarah McLachlan, Karla Bonoff, Joni Mitchell, Natalie Merchant, Carole King, Billy Joel, Carly Simon, Marc Cohn, Dianne Warren, Jimmy Webb, Elvis Costello, Burt Bacharach, Carole King, The Carpenters, Nat King Cole, and so many other fabulous musicians and songwriters!
Sounds Like
Maybe somewhere in between Suzanne Vega and Christine McVie? People think the flavor of my music fits with Norah Jones, Sarah McLachlan, or Natalie Merchant.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my site and for listening to the music! The first CD, that has for so long eluded me is at last… ahhh… complete!
Those close to me know that this was a difficult endeavor for many reasons...
physical setbacks, relationship endings, being a driven perfectionist,… and just caring so deeply that
this first CD be something that was of the highest quality possible, without compromising the heart
and soul beneath the songs. It is now finished and appropriately named, “Words Left Unsaid".
It is available at: www.CDBaby.com
The songs on this record are chosen from writings within about the past decade that together form a mood of sweet melancholy,
but with a strong sense of optimism.
My hope is that this music will touch the hearts of people, let them feel their lives more deeply,
give them a sense of hope and optimism for the future, and perhaps even help them find the time to reach out to tell someone those important words that may have been… left unsaid.
Special thanks to Jeff Pevar for his bighearted production and recording efforts on many tunes on
the record.
Jeff is one of the best guitarists on the planet and his production ideas and amazing playing helped this
initial CD exceed what I originally hoped for!! Jeff is best known for being a member of the band CPR,
with David Crosby and his son James Raymond, but is also a member of many other music projects and has recorded and toured with with too many great people to name!

Thanks also to Danny Montgomery, my dear friend and kindred spirit, for his wonderful drumming!! Danny
has recorded with the likes of Johnette Napolitano, Percy Sledge, Ray Charles, and many others. He is
currently living and touring in Italy. Grazie, Danny! www.myspace.com/dannymontgomerymusic
And Timmy, my beloved friend, engineer, counselor, and more! No one knows my journey to a first record better
than you. Thanks for your neverending faith and support! And thanks to those many other musicians and friends…
some too shy to want mentioning, that have helped and inspired me in my music and life! I love you all…
more than words can say!!
Also, deep gratitude to Jennifer Durham Star of the Memory Journalists, who is behind the amazing pictures for the CD... many of which are also on this site! www.MemoryJournalists.com
Kay: Listening to your music is a fine treat. ALL of your songs hit the spot. The last tune The Old Oak Tree is particularly keen. Ill be revisiting to replay your work so as to receive the gifts of your efforts. Best of Wishes, Chris Anderson - Eugene
