About Kay Elizabeth

Kay Elizabeth is a multifaceted vocalist coming out of gospel and jazz. She received her BAhons in Ethnomusicolgy at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London and has completed her MA in Performance and Culture at Goldsmiths Collage, University of London. Kay focuses on her more personal work of acoustic compositions, created out of poetry and prose and set to minimalist guitar chord progressions. She also collaborates with other musicians and bands forming musical projects such as the the experimental/industrial sound of Autodog, whos debut album 'Nightflower' is already in online stores. Also available online is the single 'Whys My Life Such a Game', a collaboration with composer/guitarist Ross Anderson, Kay Elizabeth and Ability Records. Kay continues to perform jazz inspired music around London and curates performance events @ the Studio N1 along side spoken-word artist Genevieve K as well as 'The Blue Trane Sessions' along side Sean Kahn (SK Radicals) @ The Epicurean Lounge every first Thursday of the Month.
