Wow, I am truly shocked that you are reading this instead of just clicking add because you (1) looked at my pictures, (2) think I’m cute, or (3) are just a good ol’ fashion MySpace whore.

First, I think I should tell you my name. I am Kazimer Szymanski; however, if that is too hard you can just call me Kaz, Casey, any variation upon the spelling or come up with your own. It’s all kosher at this point. Now, that we are past the formal introduction let me actually, tell you a little something about myself.

Getting past the formalities...

I’m 19 and happy that I am… It’s a weird age to be since it’s officially the end of my teenage years. I’m a vegetarian about go vegan for the same health reasons I went vegetarian in the first place, my allergies of all things… I could never eat red meat without getting sick, poultry without being itchy, or drink milk or eat eggs without getting hives. Currently, I live at home with my aunt, brother and cousin. It’s unconventional but that’s how it has been since I was four. We have quite the menagerie of pets but still that is quite the understatement. There are six ferrets, two dogs, a parakeet, and a bunny. I call two of the ferrets mine, Cocoa and Bruno, and I think the bunny, Thumper, is mine too but I’m still not too sure on that one. Best of all, I have an amazing boyfriend AJ. We have been through a lot. But, then again who hasn’t? All of us just need to learn to try not to change people just accept them for who they really are.

I did drop out of college this semester but I plan on going back in the fall and I officially decided to major in business management and accounting. It’s not as lofty as being interpreter working for the CIA or the UN traveling the world like I had once dreamed. But one day, I would like to open my own little coffee shop and bookstore. So, it all now makes sense. And, at heart I’m an academic who loves to learn. Eventually, I’ll be that person with like four masters and two P.H.D.’s that never ever get used for any other purpose except to prove that world is not really what it seems. Also, I’m a romantic at heart, which makes sense because my favorite language that I can speak is French. I just love how emotions and the subtlest change in words creates a different nuance in what one says… Vive le français!

Finally, I have two major notes about myself. Contrary to popular belief, I AM NOT STUCK UP… It just takes me a long time to open up because I need to know whom I open up to. Trust is something that is earned through respect and getting to know someone and is not something to just be given outright. Simple enough… Also, drama is not something I enjoy in any fashion. I, literally, avoid it like the plague and do regularly take myself out of any social scene until it all just settles down. Because drama causes stress and stress causes me to develop more health issues mentally, spiritually, and physically, I have simply no other choice.

P.S.

I do like to get to know new people that can keep a conversation on any topic because my interests go everywhere. Intelligence is not about how smart you are but what you know. I’m not saying you have to know everything but at least be well versed on your favorite topics and be able to teach what you know since that only helps you learn more… Exercise your mind more often it’s not as hard as it sounds.
