| General | MISSON STATEMENT:
Kaz DanceHUMAN Theater makes movement art that celebrates the HUMAN spirit in all its forms through dance collaborations with persons with and without disabilities.
Initiated in Spring 2006, DanceHUMAN has been featured in The Amherst Bulliten, The Women's Times, The Daily Hampshire Gazette, and The Republican newspapers, as well as regional radio and local public television. We have hosted international dance artist Gerry Turvey from the U.K., and performed works at the Barn Studio in Amherst, A.P.E. Performance Space at Thornes Market in Northampton, The Northampton Community Music Center, the Blue Guitar Gallery in Easthampton, the Evolution Cafe in Florence, and the Northampton Center for the Arts.
Ongoing integrated workshops provide safe, fun, and sometimes quirky structures for exploring movement and finding the dancer in each one of us.
