About Kazzoshay

Kazzoshay formed in the Fall of 2007 by cousins Sadhu and the The Baron, and friends Ed, and Niko. Spending late 2007, early 2008 writing and rehearsing songs at Winnipeg's Crazy Maiden they forged a sound of their own meshing the harshest synth sounds and drum beats with organic guitar riffs and vocals. On Feb 23rd 2008 they played their first show at "The Label Gallery". Through out 2008 the mad men continued writing tunes and improving on their stage performance, which grew into a spectacular light and prop based spectacle, a backdrop to Sadhu's stage theatrics (a physical depiction of his poetic, powerful, seedy and macabre lyrics). After finally playing Winnipeg's hottest live music venue "The Zoo", and just before Christmas of 2008, founding member Niko decided to call it quits; leaving The Baron, Sadhu and Ed to carry the flag. Early 2009 saw the trio in the studio beginning the recording of their first album, and auditioning guitarists to fill the void. In May 2009 Keith Skyrocker joined the band, as full time guitarist, now the sky is the limit!
