Our singer/guitar player just left us, so we're currently seeking a singer, 2nd guitar player, as well as a drummer. Please be able to practice AT LEAST once a week in Kensington/Fishtown area of Philly.

The band that is now k-bar-t formed in the summer of 2007. However, its roots reach back to the solo project of lead guitarist and songwriter Jason Davidson which began in 2003. It is now a four-piece comprising of Davidson (guitar), Adam Graham (bass), Katy Vona (keys), and Steve Urgo (drums). The current ensemble is based in the Kensington section of Philadelphia and orchestrates a sound that blends shoegaze, indie rock, pop, progressive rock, and noise

R&RAS is hosting a Teen Battle of the Bands at the end of July in Phoenixville PA! Bands between the ages of 12-19 are eligible to compete for a full demo production package- recording session at Philadelphonic Studios, professional band photograph by Kyle Ober, and CD packaging by CDMakers.
Submission deadline has just been extended to July 29th, 2009. The Battle begins on July 31! Help out fellow aspiring musicians by spreading the word to any teen bands you know. Thanks!
