Dunn is a 21st century composer and sound artist living in New York City. He has performed his work in live settings, including outdoor and site specific environments, throughout the United States and Canada. Aside from his passion in electro-acoustic and sound research he has worked with numerous classically trained performers and instrumentalists. Composing and dictating works for often the more openly experimental and singular player and reworking them into large, languorous arcs and hauntingly romantic suites. His work walks the line between zones of aggressively quiet and sharp drones with a scathing classical air. "These are the sounds of one man and the world in front of him." "Dunn is capable of crafting dark blankets of sound that isolate the most optimistic of personalities." He enjoys traveling, variations in color and photography, crepes and blintzes, french onion soup, refined coffee, obscure beers, reddest wines, and punctuated sounds. He was born in Ontario, Canada in 1986.
