About Kath Bee

Kath Bee writes songs for kids. Not just your average kids' songs. And that's a fact. Kath has produced two CDs. The first "Dragons Under My Bed" is an instant hit, with the title track getting stuck in your head from first listen and songs your kids will already know from school. Kath's second CD "I've got a dinosaur in my back yard" is a great 'sequel' to her first. It's got something for everyone, from slow, beautifully crafted tunes, to preschool action songs and loads of sing-along songs for all ages. Rich Kendrick, an exceptionally talented songwriter, musician and member of ROAD (www.myspace.com/roadtheband) enhances Kath's songs playing bass, double bass and guitar. Multi-talented Wellington-based musician Shaun Elley plays drums and adds clever percussion to some songs along with Nelson-based drummer Rhys Clark. There's even some cello and flute thrown in here and there. Recorded mixed and mastered by Dave Bowater at OHO studios, Nelson, Kath's songs will delight and surprise. You won't want any other CDs in your car on long trips with the kids!

Dan	Jul 6 2007 7:59 AM That's an old photo of me. I usually keep it short but not that short. At the moment my hair is getting a little bit curly. Thinking of growing it long again... We will hopefully do a South Island tour in the summer, but that is up in the air.

We just hoisted up an abridged version for light reading of the article "Sex, drugs and updating your blog" that hit the New York Times last Monday and its another major read for people interested in indie music promotion.
