I started singing ever since I can remember. Jokingly I say that I came out of my Mother's womb singing "Hear I Am Baby." I started playing guitar when I was about 11. Back around 1995 I aquired an Atari computer with some music editing software, and that opened up a new world for me. I started working for Hospice providing music for the patients (music therapy) and have been doing it ever since. In fact the song that I wrote "Can You Hear" comes out of my experience with Hospice. That song is included on my CD and 25% of the profit from the sale of the CD goes to Hospice. I also provided music programs each week at nursing homes through Hospice, and now do that through my business - KB Musicman. At this time, I have three nursing homes that I provide music programs for: Wyoming County Nursing Facility in Warsaw, Cloisters in Warsaw and New York State Veterans Home in Batavia.
I also do Elvis impersonations. I provide Elvis-grams in a 7 county area of Western New York. A picture of me as Elvis is on MySpace. I also have a DJ service called Oldies Express. I have more than 1100 songs from the 50's 60's & 70's, all selectable on a portable jukebox that I designed and built myself. Details of that and the list of songs is availabe on my website. Also on my website is a data base that is usefull for other guitar players. It is a multiple page of songs with lyrics and chords of some of the songs that I do in my music programs. Just go to "song files" in the site.
In the fall of 2006, our daughter came down with a rare disease called Goodpasture's Syndrome and we came close to losing her. During that time, I started a support group, and felt led to write a song called "The Shelter Of The Cross" that you can listen to, and is on the CD that I released in December of 2007. I have a page on my website describing the details of what we went through. Just click on "Goodpasture's Syndrome" on the home page. I have the songs available for purchasing for download on this site, or you can purchase a CD from my website. I have more songs that I'm working on, and hope to have available in the future. Most of all, I hope these songs can touch and minister to others.
