KCHARI (pronounced K char-ee) is an alternative band from Atlanta, GA. The three members, Miriam, Sarah, and Joshua are full time, professional musicians. The three own Mental Lentil Music Publishing (BMI). The band member’s collective education includes studies at Johns Hopkins University, Cleveland Institute of Music, Peabody Conservatory, Dickinson, Jan Smith Studios and the Atlanta Institute of Music. Miriam, Sarah and/or Joshua KChari are endorsed Bogner Amplification Artists, Bose Music Educators and Music123 Music Educators. They are all composers with BMI and members of NARAS.
KChari is co-director of a new show “KChari and Larry TV” (www.youtube.com/kchariandlarrytv ). KChari and Larry TV is a free, monthly, five-seven minute, video podcast (internet show), that features the music and “behind the scenes” footage of up-and-coming indie band KChari. The show includes music videos of original and cover songs, creatively performed by KChari each week. Hi everybody. AS always hope you're well. Still playing the firdt album regularly and it sounds fresh as ever. Apologies for not being in toiuch in a while, but new home has taken a lot of my time, but it's always a pleasure to vist my favourite band at myspace.
Hi KChari, Heaven & Earth is on hiatus now as Stuart Smith and Richie Onori have joined forces with bassist Steve Priest to reform "Sweet". For those of you unfamiliar with the band, Sweet originally formed in the early 70s and went on to sell over 40,000,000 albums with 11 International Top Ten Hits such as "Ballroom Blitz", "Little Willy", "Love is Like Oxygen", "Fox on the Run", "Teenage Rampage", "Action", "Blockbuster", "Hellraiser" and many others.
This reincarnation of the band reformed last year, playing their first show in June, and went on to play festivals throughout Canada and the States and had played to over 300,000 people before the year was out. During this tour last year they recorded a live CD available on Amazon entitled "Sweet, Live in America" which has received rave reviews - pick up a copy and please Add Sweet As Your Friend On Myspace!

hello, this is JT and i jus wanna say again how i enjoyed the performance that you guys did at The Masqurade. i will not hold anything back and i will say that the music was great and both lead and drumer are hot!!!! most importantly i would love to do a show with you guys again. i was so digging the bass player he was so cool. i see a few things that we have in common is the alternative style and funk pop sound.
we did pretty good at the Masqurade ourselves it just really suck the time we went on at cause there weren't a lot of people there to see us perform. we still had a good time overall. hope to hear from you guys soon, later.
