About me:




I LOVE spending time with my sweetheart, Charles. I like to think of him as my McGyver Chef in the making. He amazes me with his skills in the kitchen. And he's an inspiration to me on Austin's greenbelts. He's taught me the art of wearing camo and military boots gracefully.


I LOVE to stay busy with work, family and friends. I grew up south of Houston as a Preacher's Kid and for those of you thinking wooohoo! Know that I was and still am the "good" Preacher's Kid. Church was a mandated part of my life growing up, but it's an itegral part of who I am today as well. It keeps me balanced and my life centered around what I find to be the most important things about life itself. I've been on 3 mission trips - one to the People's Republic of China and two to Botswana, Africa. If you ever have the chance to experience life outside of the United States - do it! It will change your perspective entirely. You'll find a few pictures from my last trip to Botswana posted here.

Most of my career life, however, is spent working as an HR professional. I've been in the HR field in both the Austin and Dallas, Texas markets, for about eight years and I LOVE it! I love working with people, helping people and encouraging companies to do the right thing for their employees. It's incredibly fulfilling.

Joined Kershner Trading in December 2008 as a Recruiting Specialist and I focus on hiring both inexperienced and experienced traders and information technology professionals. In the job market in Austin, Texas? Drop me a line!

    Thanks! That's about 5 years old, from one of my worship teams two churches ago :) I played guitar and sang lead. I haven't had a good chance to make quality recordings of more recent music, am hoping to change that next month as I'm doing guest music at one church all month long.

    I have only had them for about a year. Chanel was actually left outside of SkinCeuticals in a box and she was so cute that I brought her home. Then decided she needed a sister and got Ginger from Leslie - she used to be a farm cat at her mom's farm in Commerce. So now they are my babies.

    no, thank god. i hated that place towards the end. just needed a change. i have clarissa on here too. im single and loving it. i still talk to andre, but that will never change, we will always be friends. he lives back home in michigan now. i've gone up there a few times to visit since he went back. but other than that, nada :) dont you love my two precious cats?? i figure you would appreciate their cuteness. those are my babies...

    hey! im finally free of skinceuticals!!! I left back in April to work at a company called Boon Chapman. The corp office is actually based in Austin but I work in the Rockwall office with Amy. I love it and am so glad to be gone from SkinC. It's not like it was before the L'Oreal days.

    Campaign Manager is probably up my alley, after 3 years of teaching Government and 14 years of managing large groups of volunteers (as a pastor). We're seriously considering moving from San Diego, not sure where to.
