Karen D. Cohen, M.S. LMFT is a licensed Marriage and family therapist who is a certified Group psychotherapist, a certified Cognitive behavioral therapist and a Masters Addiction counselor. She has been licensed as a psychotherapist since 1987. She specializes in treating adolescents and adults in individual, couple, family and group and therapies. Expertise to treat high conflict resolution issues regarding multicultural relationships, co-parenting in divorce ,gay and lesbian issues, substance abuse, family violence and trauma. She has presented workshops to train trainees, therapists in facilitating intergenerational multi-family group therapy. She was an adjunct professor in the Marriage and family department of psychology at Mount St. Mary’s College and the University of La Verne. She provides supervision and consultation

To assist in providing therapeutic services for those who want to move forward and enhance one’s own quality of life. Counseling services provide individuals with therapeutic tools for learning how to improve their emotional coping and conflict problem solving skills as a means for maintaining a healthier ongoing recovery process.
