    .. .. ...... ......
    Anyone.

Michael Patrick MacDonald, Henry Rollins, and Sinead O'Connor are personal heroes of mine. Three of the greatest peace advocates as well as logical thinkers on this planet. All have differing ideologies, but their charisma and passion for their causes is extremely influential.

Henry Rollins is a rare, renaissance man; he is a singer, songwriter, spoken word artist, author, and activist. With such a vast range of abilities, one can clearly see Rollins' extant acuity as well as aptness for studious learning. His IFC documentaries, spoken word performances, and abstract lyrics shape the audiences fucked-up or ignorant opinions into nothing less than well informed stances. South Africa Uncut is an inspiration in that the viewer comes to understand pride in their country and the ability to be greatful for what they have. Peace and knowledge are the great biproducts of his entertaining endeavors.

Sinead O'Connor...what can one say about Sinead O'Connor? She is beautiful, intelligent, and more than willing to sing whatever she fucking wants to sing. With songs about racist, murderous cops to the IRA, controversy is to be expected. She has a gift for putting words together with true meaning and a lesson to be learned. As she has said, "I didn't want to be a f***ing pop star. I wanted to be a protest singer.”

Last (but certainly not least) is Michael Patrick MacDonald. MPM is a wonderful writer and prominent peace activist with a knack for putting together a sweet fucking playlist. His memoirs, All Souls: A Family Story from Southie and Easter Rising: A Memoir of Roots and Rebellion, outline his life growing up in the violence of Southie during tumultuous times; forced busing and Whitey Bulger's reign being two imposing factors. He is culturally inept, intelligent, and empathetic. His Gun Buyback programs have helped defeat gang violence in Boston and spread the word of peace throughout the nation. Hopefully, more citizens will learn from the lessons outlined in his books so that a few less people will be fucked up.
