Practical laboratory herbal alchemy is my way of exploring life. It's always an adventure, like a real to life video game. Alchemy preserves and purifies the healing qualities of medicinal herbs. It was, and still is, an art, like cooking or preserving food without refrigeration. Alchemy's historical ties to astrology adds multi-dimensions to further the journey.
Music is magic to me. It can heal, teach, cure, and build community. I've promoted open mics since 1988 focusing on this endeavor. From 1989 - 1993 I wrote and published a successful free magazine called "the Pro-Am Guide". I still maintain a list of Chicago area open mics at: OpenMics.US.
The study of spirituality has been an important part of my life. Although I was baptized without consent into one of the new repressive religious Christian organizations, I've found that Earth based spirituality fits me better. To me, all the Universe totaled is God/Goddess/All that is, and within there are many energies to discover. The "Great Whatever All" is just that. I simply endeavor to learn who I am, and why I'm here. Hail to the GWA!

Heroes
OSHO - I became a sanyassin in 1988. Osho gave me the meditation name Anand Nirman. After I remembered and accepted enlightenment I moved on, but he'll always be the hero in my life.
VETERANS I'VE KNOWN - I was an Air Traffic Controller in the U.S. Air Force on one of the six active divisional Norad Combat Crews. I was also stationed in Germany and assigned to a mobile radar unit during the Cold War (Hessisch Oldendorf). Before the Berlin Wall came down we were occasionally faced with imminent terrorism by the Bader Meinhoff Gang. These situations brought out stories of war as told by the older Veterans I was on deployment with - stories that usually wouldn't be shared. These men and women are my heroes for the courage it took to persevere through very difficult times in service to our national community, commonly known as these United States. I wrote a song honoring soldiers called "Stop A War Before It Starts". It is on my most recent CD "Facets":

Open minded spiritually aware beings who know how to celebrate life through mystery, music, exploration, et al. Oh, and Pagans, who are all that and more. Also, anyone who loves and understands what being skyclad means.
