Washington State Presidential Caucus Who: YOU! And your Democratic Friends and Neighbors What: A neighborhood meet-up to vote on who should be the next President. When: Saturday, February 9th, 1pm Where: Find your precinct location here: http://www.wa-democrats.org/caucusfinder
What you will need to do: Show up by 1pm! Sign in to verify that you are or will be eligible to vote in the 2008 Presidential race and that you are a Democrat. You’ll need to put down your candidate of choice (or “uncommitted” if you just can’t decide) What happens next? You will vote for your candidate (or be uncommitted), have time to change your vote if you are so inclined, and then elect delegates to represent your choice (if your choice has enough support) at the next level of the caucuses in April. After the delegates have been selected, there will be time to discuss platform resolutions that will be voted on at the State Convention in June. For more information, check out the video and other details on the State Party’s website, www.wa-democrats.org!
After the Caucuses…
