It's best to just take a listen to get our sound. But we're all percussion, no strings attached...
We hail out of the Northeast of the US. We play predominately at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health and travel around doing gigs, programs, workshops, drum circles and more.
I'd sure like to check out this Roberto Hector Cronandez dude and his amazing chime chops, but until I actually RECEIVE a copy of the CD I won't be able to!
Hey, what about that RickyG Good-Man Heartinger dude.... I hear he's pretty cool on dousongoni (who knows WTF that is?!) and some windblown stick with holes in it thing.... apparently he's ok for a drummer.... ;-)
i have put together a mantra ceremony to chant for world peace and abundance. It will be done using a mala of 108 beads. we will be doing 2 whole malas with 2 different mantras. 3 to 6 candles to light would be ideal for blessings to the earth, all you love, as well as one for yourself. many different friends across the nation will be chanting at the same time different places. If this is something that interests you, please message me to get the information of when and what mantras we will be doing. As well as any question. it will be this sat. So please feel free to join us/me! Sat Nam! Jai Ram Kaur
My hand is starting to feel better. I will be taking Solia to Europe for two weeks Oct. 15-30 and doing no massage or drumming or typing - just resting and taking vitamin I (ibuprophen!) to try to heal up. Hopefully we can hang when I get back. And yeah, I did get it - riding bikes is so much fun! Solia is a great teacher... She is available for group drumming lessons if you want.
