The mission of the Knowledge Exchange Center of Rhode Island is to provide professionals in social and human services with a support network that provides opportunities for knowledge exchange, as well as, resources, training, and tools to help them achieve optimal personal, professional, and organizational growth.
The Center brings together social and human service professionals, community leaders, policy makers, educators and researchers to work together in a knowledge-sharing environment to forge community links. It is a comprehensive, interactive resource for both the human service and public service community to share knowledge, build relationships, and shape the future of Rhode Island’s communities.
Founded in July of 2003, the Knowledge Exchange Center of Rhode Island’s goal is to be the principal association representing our State’s non-profit sector. The Knowledge Exchange Center a statewide membership organization of diverse nonprofits, is dedicated to protecting, strengthening, and promoting nonprofit organizations in our state.
