..Hi people. Keef befriends through affinity. His friends are not for statistics or an opportunity for self-promotion, or copy-and-paste spam. Peace.
Keef has written lyrics for Tony O'Malley, previously of 10CC, Kokomo, and Arrival. Tony has also contributed to Keef's recordings, as have Mel Collins (Rolling Stones), Neil Hubbard (Roxy Music), Paul Lamb, Duffy Power, Frank Mead (Eric Clapton), Les Davidson (Paul Young), Dick Heckstall-Smith (Alexis Korner), and vocalists Dyan Birch, Paddy McHugh, and Frank Collins from Arrival and Kokomo.
Fine artist Keef, ex-The Slade School of Fine Art London, is a founding and leading light of the still performing cult British country-blues band Brett Marvin and the Thunderbolts as vocalist, guitarist, and 'inventor' and player of the Zobstick and electric ironing board.
Initial success came for Keef under the guise of Terry Dactyl and the Dinosaurs with 'Seaside Shuffle,' that included Jona Lewie of 'Stop the Cavalry' notability. This record became a hit in Europe and Australia, reaching the number 2 spot in the UK singles chart.
Keef also wrote the lyrics to Jona Lewie's international hit 'You'll Always Find Me in the Kitchen at Parties.'
He is also part of the folk-rock outfit The Okee Dokee Band, writing much of its original material. The band is a regular feature at Broadstairs Folk Week.
Keef has produced all latest Brett Marvin and the Thunderbolts' recorded output, including the four-song cd 'Keep on Moving'. Co-producer and audio engineer of this and many other Keef Trouble recordings is Pete Ker, another long-standing associate, who produced The Motors, Man, and Arthur Brown, co-writing Brown’s 'Fire.'
Thanks for the comment Keef! Yes, we like to think of those old stiff'n'starchies rocking out and enjoying our unhinged old ditties. Just a crazy gigglesome picture. Thanks for perusing our various sillinesses - regards 'n' deep respect from the surviving Trout-Rippers
