KeelHaul is a Vancouver based Celtic, Traditional, Maritime group bringing the East Coast to the West Coast. It's always a good time, it's never the same, and -"Those that like us, like us alot!"
The group was formed in 2005 from the roots of the true Maritime Kitchen party. Since that time, they have played in numerous pubs, legion's, and kitchen's from Vancouver Island, to Newfoundland. Some spectacular shows have been Banff, Alberta, O'Carrolls, Halifax, Ships Inn, St. John's during last years "Wedding Tour".
Wayne plays Bass regularly with another Newfoundland group called "The Streels", and can often be seen playing, hosting, and watching various sessions around the Vancouver area.
Sue often sits in with her drum at various sessions as well. She also is the very talented Streels "Merch Girl" and can be seen at many, many "Streels" shows.
Dave enjoys the accordion so much, that he has been seen, more than once, sleeping on the couch with the box still strapped to his chest. He has been playing the accordion for too many years to count, and has entertained folks all over Germany, the States, and of course Canada.
As for the music. It is on the progressive side of tradtional. The set list varies from night to night, and it has been on more than one occasion that on a 2-day booking, the group has learned new requests for night number two.
KeelHaul also supports many charity and fund raising groups, and has performed these at no cost to the organizers. They feel it's important to support those who are supporting others.
