Keely Valentine is the world’s up and coming princess of pop and rock. At only seventeen, she has accomplished much for her age including having one of her songs featured on an episode of "The Bad Girls Club", and modeling for clothing companies “Toxic Vision” and “Fashion Whore”. You can find her in Toronto, Ontario on a regular basis, but lives and goes to school between Mississauga and Burlington. As a purely unique individual, her other talents include dancing, sewing, running a popular blog site and being the rather strange captain of her school’s cheerleading team. Keely writes her own lyrics which reflect on her life and experiences, plays electric and acoustic guitar and dabbles on the piano. As if that wasn't enough, one of Keely's unique and surprising talents is her ability to sing in Japanese; this talent placed her second in a J-pop idol contest that she participated in when she was only 14. Some of Keely's biggest influences are female fronted rock bands like the classic punk-rock-pop group “No Doubt” and the new-to-the-scene group “The Ting Tings”, as well as electro-style music groups such as Dragonette and Lights. Other influences include asian pop stars “Koda Kumi” and “Boa”, and rock bands like Taking Back Sunday. Keely's unmatchable style and personality are what make her stand out in a crowd. With a promising future ahead of her, its only a matter of time before she takes over the whole music industry.
