About me:

I was out of work a few months ago and decided to respond to a "Help Wanted" advertisement from a nonprofit organization called "KEEP AMERICA BEAUTIFUL" (KAB) for an "Environmental Superhero." OK, I thought it was a joke...or a clever way to lure me in to door-to-door encyclopedia sales.

Turns out, they were serious. OK, so I may have exaggerated a bit in the interview and told the President that I could lift cars and fly. You never know what you're capable of until you try. That's my motto. Well, it's one of my mottoes anyway.

Next thing you know, I'm wearing a cape and tights and sent off to promote recycling, encourage tree planting, and to publicly humiliate people who litter (slobs!).

So...did I mention that I have no superhero experience? I really need your help. KAB really needs your help. I can't do this by myself...

Who I'd like to meet:

People who care about the environment

People who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty by cleaning up rivers, creating parks, and planting trees

People who can help spread the message of the power of beauty to transform our lives and strengthen our communities

Ed Begley, Jr.

People who recognize that their daily choices as consumers and citizens can make a real difference in the world
