I would sincerely hope that Delta starts adding some mainline jets to the BTR schedule once the merger is completed.maybe A-319s?..or even the DC-9s!!Plus with the SLC hub,thats going to give Delta longer legs to reach out to Pacific destinations that would be out of reach from MSP & DTW with NWA..I would love to see COA megered with DAL after the NWA merger,since NWA has a very high stake in COA,but that could potentially be a cash cow for DAL if UAL decides to merger with COA,DAL could sell theeir new NWA shares of COA stock to UAL at a very nice preimum and give DAL a hefty raw cash infusion. I knew alot of the old timers for DAL,Gerry Bordelon,Clarence Fabre,and others..I know both of them have since retired.Not many left out at BTR that I knew.Comes with age I reckon...
