Dawn....Like the Sunrise

About me:

Hello everybody, welcome to my page. Here are a few things that peak my interest...first and foremost I need the Lord in my life to guide me through this short stint we like to call life on Earth. He lives in my heart so that I can grow in my walk and become more like Him. I need the sunshine He created, to survive. I love the beach and everything it has to offer; the palm trees, the people lying all around with their beach towels and colorful umbrellas, relaxing and hangin out with friends catching some rays. I love digging my feet into the soft, warm sand and listening to the waves crash upon the shore. Add a drink with a lil umbrella in it...and that's what I call a perfect day!
THINGS I LIKE: Adventure, music, lifting weights, sweating after a long, hard cardio session, going places, seeing things, traveling, taking risks, acting silly, laughing, sexy glances, feeling all tingly inside, feeling the sun on my face, dancing, mental stimulation, feeling excited about something, seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, change, provoking thoughts, people who say what's on their minds...no matter what it is, complete and utter honesty, letting go to enjoy the moment, being vulnerable to the one that you love, finding out after all these years you are good at something, exploring, being spontaneous, being hyper, the feeling of when things just *click*, positive attitudes, comfy beds, soft, fluffy pillows, straight white teeth, tanned skin, people who take care of themselves, art, seeing the finished product, originality, taking pictures, having a drink with friends, sushi, mexican food, trying new things, fashion, interior decorating, bright colors, kitty kats, taking up new hobbies, coincidences, being creative, seeing the other persons point of view.

THINGS I DON'T LIKE: The devil, extremists, negativity, anger, when people say "how are you" when they are just walking by (they don't really want to know), cold weather, when you have to hurry up to wait, work-a-holics, liars, clutter, people who don't express themselves, neglect, dead flowers, being bored, feeling sick, losing motivation, complainers (nobody wants to be around a complainer), when I am running and I am out of air, the rich that keep getting richer and the poor who never get a break, obligations, the corrupt gov't, the media, how people are still dying for the War on Terror, people who always think they are right, procrastination (I am really bad at that), people who don't keep their word, being in an uncomfortable situation, being scared, that sinking feeling in your stomach when you have just done something wrong and you know there is NOTHING you can do to take it back!

I feel that everything works itself out in the end, eventually. I am all about taking a journey and trying new and different things in life. I need excitement and adventure or else I get very bored and restless. I am a brilliant multi-tasker. I like to be creative and artsy when something inspires me. I recently took up painting and discovered I am not half bad when I have good inspiration. I guess I can write a good poem or two as well.

Once in a while I will get a "bright" idea in my head. Then watch out! If I get something stuck in my head I am headstrong about accomplishing it. Once I accomplish it..I move on to another "bright" idea of mine.

What would you do if you weren't afraid?
Think about this question a bit.

Feel all the answers pop in your head;
one by one, feel them hit.

This question is powerful
and will make your mind spin.

It will make you want to do all those things
that now trouble you from within.

Would you still be sitting where you are right now,
or would you get up and run?

Is there something else in life you'd rather do,
or do you feel like you've already won?

Have you made a list of a hundred goals
for you to accomplish while you're here?

If so, have you been checking them off
or have your dreams been stifled by fear?

Have you been to the places you've seen in your dreams,
or have you never been out of the state?

Have you and your friends taken a crazy adventure,
or is it for this you still patiently await?

Are you with the person who is meant for you,
or do you feel an emptiness inside?

Have you met the other half of your soul
or are you still searching far and wide?

Have you loved with all of your heart,
or have you built walls to block you in?

Can you allow yourself to be completely vulnerable,
Or is your heart made of tin?

These are just some thoughts to ponder,
maybe it's time you take another look.

There maybe an itch deep inside you,
there maybe chances you wish you took.

Now is the time to conquer your fears,
because this life is all we get.

Starting now, be brave and take the chance,
live life so you'll no longer have regret.
