I suppose that question really depends on which Khei you are referring to. There's the real Khei Who happens to be the human behind the keyboard. The furry Khei that appears in my artwork and the Hyjakin' Nathan fancomic. Lastly, the actual character, Kei who's story is currently being written.
Furry Khei
Khei is my personal Fursona. She's considered an anthropomorphic animal though she's actually a member of her own race, from her own homeworld. She's not just some random animal who's been humanized.
Originally she was named Keimei after the translation of my own real name. While Roleplaying Keimei soon got shortened to Kei. After a brief stint on FurryMUCK being confused for a couple of other characters and because "Kei" was already taken on several forums the "h" was added.
"Riftwalker" Kei
Kei is the main character in what I hope to be the first of a series of stories revolving around the world of Tairachi.
This is the original version of Kei. She's much less comical and more dramatic than any other version as her story is not really a happy one.
The REAL Khei
Ah the mundane, mortal human. Well lessie. It goes without saying that I was born. Thanksgiving day 1980 to be exact.
Not much to say really. I'm a sagittarius and I pretty much live up to it. I'm spontaneous. I act kinda crazy sometimes. I'm extremely competitive. I like Fantasy and SciFi. I love Books, Music, and Movies.. TV.. not so much unless there's actually something NOT Reality TV, sports, or Law Enforcement/Hospital related. Okay I guess Castle counts as Law enforcement related soo.. YEah yeah I watch TV too now XP
I'm a pet groomer by day and spend the rest of what little free time I have drawing, writing, gaming, surfing the net, and taking care of my mother. I'm also a chronic, paranoid worry wort. I worry about bills, rent, collection calls, and some guy in a suit knocking at my door because a joke, gag, or comic went to far and insulted someone.
My ego is roughly the size of a whoopy cushion, inflates about as much, and pretty much makes the same sound when it gets squished. The only time I have any kind of ego is while playing video games competitively with other people. Particularly since there's yet to be a game I couldn't beat someone else at. I AM a master gamer and have been known to make grown men cry.
My self esteem isn't too much better either. That kinda comes with 20 years of comments like "She's so cute in this picture. What happened?" and "You'll never amount to anything." Especially when the same comments come from so called "family". This is something I'm trying to improve on but so far...
Really the best way to get to know me is to read my blogs, check out my art gallery, and ask questions. I won't bite.. Unless ya piss me off.
