“Grunt, snort, snoot” says Kalle Keiler aka Wild Boar Willy, internet star at www.wildtiere-live-de/en, the official website of the German Hunting Association (Deutsche Jagdschutz-Verband (DJV)), founders of a unique internet wildlife initiative: Several cameras set up by the DJV transmit the exciting life of the wild boar over the internet in real time and with a full soundtrack. Whether the boarlets are suckling, roughhousing with each other, or literally dancing around under their parents.. noses, nature lovers can watch it all as it happens.
Since the beginning of this internet project in September 2003, the DJV counts more than 1.5 million visits to the site per month. And wildtiere-live.de has a community of fans not only in Germany, but also in many other countries in Europe and around the world. Many of these have become true followers of the swine..s daily soap opera - also affectionately dubbed "Pig Brother" – so the DJV was proud to announce a special surprise as Dankeschoen: the Wild Boar Willy fan page. Here you find Willy the Boar in an animated cartoon version and singing his own song “Here comes Wild Boar Willy”. Accompanied musically by a chorus of boarlets, he'll give you a humorous look at his life. The song is also available for download at numerous download shops. And those who want still more Willy can send an electronic postcard (e-card) with the song and cartoon to friends and acquaintances.
During last year..s rut in November Wild Boar Willy has once again demonstrated that he is the one and only real tusker for the swinish ladies. All Willy fans were enthused at the moment when the wild sows gave birth to many little piglets around the carnival season this February. No question: Kalle has once again keeped the young boars in check and put paid to their plans to dispossess him as "lover number one". Will they ever vent their anger by picking a fight? Beastly enthralling times are dawning ...

Was kommt heraus, wenn man „Pig Brother“ und „Deutschland sucht das Superschwein“ mixt?
Ganz klar - ein schweinischer Hit mit einem sauguten Interpreten: Keiler Kalle, das singende Wildschwein.
Schon seit März 2004 grassiert im Internet das Wildschweinfieber. Nachdem selbst Medien wie CNN über www.wildtiere-live.de, die Kulthomepage der deutschen Jäger, berichteten, verfallen immer mehr Naturfreunde jedes Alters dem Charme der tierischen Internetstars, die sich rund um die Uhr per Livecam im Freigehege Hellenthal/Eifel beobachten lassen (abwechselnd mit Kalles Bande gibt es auch Heinz den Platzhirschen mit seiner Rotwild-Familie zu bestaunen).
Abermillionen von Zugriffen auf seine Website hat der Deutsche Jagdschutz-Verband bislang gezählt. Aufgrund des riesigen Interesses an intimen Einblicken in den Alltag einer Schweinerotte wurde Familienoberhaupt Keiler Kalle nun ein Song auf den Leib geschrieben, dessen witziges Zeichentrickvideo auch als E-Card schon tausendfach durchs Internet geschickt wird. Mit „Hier kommt Keiler Kalle“ möchte sich der borstige Star Kalle noch tiefer in die Herzen seiner Fans grunzen, äh, singen und dafür sorgen, dass es munter abgeht im Revier ...
Der tierische Party-Song, der bei Frischlingen wie Erwachsenen gleichermaßen gut ankommt, wurde produziert von Hanno Bruhn (Christina Stürmer, Frank Zanders „Hier kommt Kurt“, Diether Krebs’ „Ich bin der Martin, ne“) und rotiert bereits in etlichen CD-Playern von DJs auf Mallorca und hierzulande. Mit „Here comes Wild Boar Willy“ legt Kalle unter seinem internationalen Pseudonym sogar eine englischsprachige Version für alle Fans vor, die ihn von der Site www.wildtiere-live.de/en/ kennen.
Kommt nach den nervigen Krokodilen, Fröschen und Schnuffelhasen nun endlich ein richtig kerniger animalischer Popstar aus dem Unterholz der deutschen Wälder?
