Sounds Like
Next up are Keiretsu who are, simply put, jaw-dropping... Marrying licks and hooks from ska, traditional folk and Motown-era soul to jungle's dirty energy, theirs is an intense, multi-layered sound that'll be headlining Glastonbury's Jazz Stage within the next two years, if there's any justice.
- Knowledge Magazine
Two parts London Elektricity, one part Rage Against The Machine with a trace of Reprazent, ... d&b outfit Keiretsu are currently doing their reputation no harm at all with a rockin' set of funk guitar licks, socially conscious raps, triumphant trumpets and even live flute sections. Ones to watch, indeed.
- DJ Magazine
Keiretsu are a breathtakingly eclectic drum 'n' bass collective whose chaotic hotchpotch of styles and instrumentation resonates with an irrepressible beat cool... Category-defying, sense-assaulting and displaying a ceaseless invention... A unique and wonderful experience. (5/5)
- Three Weeks reviewing an Edinburgh festival gig
Though they have the speed, the energy and the irresistible groove of dnb, they also have a certain musical integrity that creates an extra dimension to their sound.... layers of very well written, very infectious melodies that would interest even the staunchest of critics of the scene. Keiretsu can sound like almost any genre of music you care to name.... there really isnt anything around that sounds even close to this
NORTHERN LAUNCH GIG: SUN 27th MAY - THE OTHER ROOMS - NEWCASTLE
Bio
keiretsu are a truly unique band.
forming in 2000 with the intention of being a live drumnbass collective in the reprazent mould, things quickly went spectacularly but wonderfully wrong. with the line up including a horn section and electric violin alongside the usual, they diversified to incorporate influences ranging from folk to psytrance, breakbeat to funky jazz, ambient to rock'n'roll.
six years together has seen them refine an eclectic yet unique sound, confidently combining epic and atmospheric textures with driving dancefloor beats 'n' basslines and catchy, accessible hooks.
playing everywhere from london clubs with the likes of Pendulum and London Elektricity, to sell out dates at the Edinburgh festival, from Brighton breaks nights with General Midi and Lo Fi All Stars to outdoor folk festivals in Cumbria, they've become known across the uk for their explosive live gigs....

Hark The Heralds Goblins Sing!! IllumiNaughty returns to the Chapel Again!!!
After what proved to be a blissfully bizarre gathering of Biblical proportions last May IllumiNaughty cordially invites you to congregate with us for one last time at The Chapel, Wilmslow Rd.
On the 19th Sept AT MIDNIGHT, we’ll throw a party to rumble the heavens in a farewell celebration to Manchester’s weirdest House of Worship. Unfortunately The Chapel will be forced to close its doors soon as a venue so it seemed only right to us to bid this quirky building the goodbye it deserves.
Come check out my newest DrumnBass tune "The King Is Back" recently added to the player. It features a collection of samples from various Michael Jackson songs and is sort of my little tribute to him from a dnb standpoint. If you're a fan you'll def enjoy this track. Leave some love if you like what you hear, it's always appreciated. Cheers!

For the first Nerve release of 2009, we're very proud to present the debut EP from Copenhagen's Jean Doe.
It's drum n bass tinged with detroit techno and deep house, from the glitchy beats of the title track to deep rolling vibes on "Nuance" and "Fibre" before fellow Copenhagen based producer Pyro joins him for the epic and uplifting "Ambitions in A Minor".
Ez, come check out the new Mindstorm tune "Off The Radar" recently added to the player. This track along with 15 more original bangers will be featured on Mindstorm's second album The Invasion coming this summer. Feedback is always welcome and always appreciated. =) Cheers!
