The DragonLance series and "I, Jedi" are probably the most entertaining books I've ever read. Pathetic, huh?
I also read and collect Star Wars comics books and like the poetry of Edgar Allen Poe.

A few years ago, I produced a Star Wars audio drama called Rise of Nobility. I also played the part of the imfamous and well-hated Jar Jar Binks. Feel free to download and listen to it by clicking the image below.
That will take you to the Rise of Nobility web page at StarWarsFanworks.com. Click on the "Rise of Nobility Audio Drama" link (or right click the link and save to your hard drive) in the middle frame. Then unzip the files and load/listen with an mp3 player like Windows Media Player.
Bennet Pomerantz Review of Rise of Nobility
For those Star Warriors who hunger for high adventure before the release of Star Wars Episode III next year, May I strongly suggest you seek out the audio theater presentation of "Rise of Nobility" (web site, 45 minutes, Multi Cast Production). This short pre episode one Wars tale is brought to life by a cast of unknowns actors with a heart for the material. Lucasfilm should take note of this young audio theater group if he is planning to do episode one through three on audio or radio. For a group like this, it is an amazing discovery to enjoy. The acting is crisp, better than the Kid Rhino version of Episode one. The audio special effect seem good, but needs a better mix of dialog with effect. My wish that this project should be sold in CD form in book stores and record shops, next to the NPR Star Wars on radio."

By the way, the opinions expressed herein are of my own and are no way representative of Gannett Co, Inc. or USA TODAY. Just FYI, in case anyone gets any bright ideas to the contrary. :P
Who I'd like to meet: George Lucas, Renee Zellweger, Joe Gibbs, Steve Martin and most of all Sandra Bullock. :P Oops, did I just say that out loud? I meant Neil Finn.
Here's a great quote from George Lucas...
"The point of the movies is to get on with your lives, to take that challenge, to leave your uncle's moisture farm, to go out in the world and change it to save the universe."
I don't know ... not really thrilled about the gray hair and the high cholesterol, but life seems to be getting better with advancing years. A lot better.
(I got my first birthday card with "wife" on it!! yeah!)
