About Keith Christopher:
Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia,(and now long-time resident of NYC) this Original Georgia Satellites member and Bassist to the stars (including Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Billy Joe Shaver, & Tony Joe White, as well as many artists with two names, including Paul Westerberg and Todd Snider) is a consistent source of inspiration to everyone around him.
Keith is a member of "The Yayhoos" with Dan Baird (Former lead singer/guitarist of the Georgia Satellites and unlikely gap-toothed MTV icon, thanks to the Satellites hit "Keep Your Hands to Yourself") who have recorded successful albums and gained a large following in Europe, where they are frequently seen on tour and performing in Popular Festivals and TV/Radio Shows numerous times a year.
Keith is also a Published Songwriter through BUG Music (NY/Nashville/LA) with many credits to his name, including having a song recorded by the legendary Ray Charles called "Over the Top" which Keith himself recorded for his latest record with "The Yayhoo's".
He is currently hard at work on the release of his first solo record, which will feature many new original songs, as well as many well-known industry musicians from NY & Nashville. He is a member of the fun, foot-stompin', soulful-groove party band, "Worm & the Mezcal Playas" and also continues staying busy as a session & live player for artists all over the US & Abroad. Keith is happy to join his friends to create exciting new musical experiences every time they play together!

"I would teach the children music, physics and philosophy, but the most important is music, for in the patterns of the arts are the keys to all learning."
I love "Over the Top", Keith. I've been a big fan of your music for years and especially like the stuff you did with Freddi. Hope to meet you sometime soon!
