    Music has always been a major part of my life. I started playing guitar at 13 and never looked back. I spent years listening to many different styles of music and absorbing as much as I could. Also I became acquainted with some really great guitarists who influenced me a lot. I've always loved the blues and what I suppose is now called "classic rock" but I'm not closed minded to any style of music as long it's good. I have played in many different bands over the years and I've really enjoyed the ride. Lately I'm focusing a lot on recording though I do still play live. I do feel like I've got something to say with my music and if somebody somewhere gets something out of it then that definitely makes it worthwhile for me. ........ .. .......... .. .. .. .. .. .. ..

    Duane Allman, Eric Clapton, Johnny Winter, Hendrix, Robin Trower, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Alvin Lee, Jan Akkerman, Lowell George, Santana, Jeff Beck, Steve Morse, Steve Howe, Rick Derringer, Frank Marino, Ritchie Blackmore, Tony Iommi, Ronnie Montrose, Eric Johnson, David Gilmour, Billy Gibbons, Ed King, Hughie Thomasson, Mark Knopfler, Steve Gaines, Rory Gallagher, Roy Buchanan, Danny Gatton, Leo Kottke, George Benson, John McLaughlin, Larry Coryell, many more........ Not that I sound like all or any of these, especially the jazz guys, but their playing inspired me and helped me to search for my own voice on the guitar. I guess I'm still doing that. I never want to become satisfied with my playing. I want to keep learning new things as long as I continue to play which will be as long as I am alive and still have fingers that work.
