i'm someone who likes and admires originality, hardwork, honesty, and dedication. Although I'm not religious, I follow my own code of ethics and morality not too dissimilar from the basic rules: that is, live life but try to not step on people's toes in the process. Family and friends come above all else. I'll protect them to death, but stab me in the back once, and you'll have an enemy for life.

I've dealt with a lot of crap in my life, including being picked on in school and at work, endearing many failed relationships (attempts), my family going through near bankruptcy, my father having a stroke, my mother going insane, and giving up the thing that meant the most to me: Japan. I don't like taking shit from people these days and I'll speak my mind. But at the same time, I'm fair and give people several chances and the benefit of the doubt. It's up to people, not me, to prove themselves. Yet if a person proves worthy, I'd do anything in the world in my power to help them.

Two words that describe me: hopeless romantic. I'm more realistic in dealing with things these days, but I also stick to my ideals. My idle time is often used writing about how I think things ought to be. Someday I hope that I can publish my works so people can truly understand how I feel. Most of the time I feel misunderstood as people these days only seem to leave their mouths open without saying anything of importance, rather than taking a moment to understand the wholistic scope of a problem or person. Writing is my escape and my sword. I honestly do wish the best for people, although most people do not deserve it nor seem to want it.

Call me a cynic and you are correct. But I think cynicism is through the experience of lost trust between myself and the world. Hopefully, I can rediscover it. But until that time, I remain paranoid and distant.
