KELLEE'S FIRST MEMORY OF SINGING is when she and her brother, Chuck, would sing for guests at their grandparent's house in Jefferson, Georgia. Their favorite number was a country song they called "Just a swinging".
Through the years Kellee continued to sing. She went to college in Boston to study music at Berklee College of Music, where she found her love for songwriting. After graduation Kellee wanted to be surrounded by music-minded people like her, striving for greatness. And she didn't want to pay a lot in rent, so she headed for Nashville, Tennessee, where she now resides.
FUN KELLEE FACT:
Kellee won a car, in a 2002 "Sing to Win" Contest in Atlanta. She sang at a "On the Bricks" concert in front of 50,000 music lovers who voted her the winner of a 2003 Toyota Matrix.
This is Kellee's second favorite possesion in the world. Her stuffed pig from childhood being the first.
