A rising star in the LA music scene, Kelley James has played with heavy-hitters Sara Bareilles, Tyrone Wells, Kate Voegele, and hit-makers T-Pain and Lil Jon. As a headliner, he consistently packs LA's most legendary venues, including the El Rey, Roxy, Key Club, and Avalon. Kelley's style is a mix of singer/songwriter pop, in the vein of Jack Johnson and Maroon 5, with hip-hop sensibilities. His shows meld storytelling, live music and the occasional freestyle rap in a way that makes for an unforgettable experience. Last September, Kelley launched The Sorority Tour with one goal in mind: to spread his music across the entire United States. When he returned to LA in May, Kelley had performed for over 100 sororities on college campuses nationwide. He covered a lot of ground, including UCLA, LSU, Colorado Boulder, Indiana, Illinois, Berkley, Georgia Tech, Arizona and everywhere in between. In this time, Kelley covered 23,000 miles, played for thousands of people, made lots of new friends, and took a huge step toward spreading his music across the country.
