Currently listening to... The Tragically Hip | | Movies | I just LOVE films. I can sit through almost anything (although I very nearly walked out the cinema during Black Hawk Down). Luckily they do a baby cinema in my home town so once a week Spud and me go to the movies - although the choice of film is strictly limited and I refuse to watch chick-flicks!
Old favs are 'Hudson Hawk', 'Batman Returns' 'Watership Down', Disney's 'Beauty and the Beast' and 'Moulin Rouge' - see all totally different!
Best last film watched... Constantine | | Television | There is very rarely anything worth watching on telly. All those channels and it's all the same, cheap, trashy dumbed-down rubbish. Occasionally something good comes along...
Currently watching... Dr Who and Dirty Sexy Money | | Books | Oooooh! Books! Don't get me started on books. Check my blog to see current reviews - mainly on teen stuff (as that's what I write).
Fav books of all time - sadly not very exciting, just classics really -
Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carrol
and
Watership Down by Richard Adams
But I'm a big fan of Meg Cabot, Melvin Burgess, Laurell K Hamilton (well, her early stuff!), Robert Muchamore, Janet Evanovich, Darren Shan, Holly Black... I could go on and on and on...
Best last book read... Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr (and she's on MySpace - go check her out :-D | | Heroes | Catwoman.
Feisty, independent, competent, totally self-assured and damn fine to look at. Who wouldn't want to be her? I was first sold on her when I saw Batman Returns at the cinema at the age of 12. But then my role models always tend to be strong women: She-ra, Wonder woman, Boudica, Buffy the Vampire Slayer...
