About me:

I'm 25 years old and I currently live in the East Bay area of San Francisco with my ex fiance and my three dogs: Krysta, a 4 year old Siberian husky, Kairi, an 8 year old Carolina dog (American Dingo) and newly added, Atreyu a one and a half year old Malamute. He's my big boy. :) There is also Finbar the bearded dragon and a Columbian Red Tail Boa named Indy Bindi! She is so cute! I just love her... Someday soon I will add a tarantula to my menagerie...;) I have a wide variety of interests; my favorite color is blue, I love Indian, Thai, Greek and Italian food, and I like meeting new people! :) I love animals: my favorites are elephants, orcas, flamingos, reptiles and creepy crawlies...:) I am an animal control officer for a humane society/SPCA out here and I just love my job. It's what I've always wanted to do and I love being able to be a voice for animals who need help. Plus I get to see and interact with so much interesting wildlife, I never get bored at work! :) I was apprenticing with the Oakland Zoo elephants last year...it was pretty awesome. Well, besides picking up the piles of poop, it was pretty cool...that's something else I wanted to do as a career, but being an animal cop was calling to me a little more...I did love spending time with the elephants behind the scenes and seeing them do things the public doesn't necessarily see...:) I had to stop the apprenticeship to get a paying job,and I was sad to not be doing that anymore, but oh well. My ex and I like to watch movies; we have over 3000! I think it's actually over 3500 now, we tend to get "new" movies when they are in theaters...;) Also, we like to play video games a lot...we have a PS2, an Xbox, Xbox 360, Wii, and recently we got a PS3...it's ridiculous how much electronics we have in our living room. I'm surprised people aren't robbing us left and right...:P Dan and I also watch TV; we have Digital Cable, and I just love all the movie channels! :) Yea, we have a lot of TV to catch up on.... :) We also have Tivo and it's a godsend haha. I also enjoy putzing around the internet and finding interesting sites to explore. I have a livejournal and facebook account, so check me out on there. My user name for LJ is bellelvsbeast. I often like to take my dogs to the beach and dog park. The dog park is fun too, but Kairi and weird around other dogs so I don't go as often. She is fiercely loyal and protective of me and for some reason hates pit bulls (I think she was a bait dog when she was stray in Mexico, poor thing) so she will fight them. So I try not to take her to dog parks anymore. I do get to take my dogs to work though! They get to ride in the pound truck with me. It's kind of fun to have a buddy all day. I can only take one at a time though. I just finished my PC 832 classes so I can be a sworn in Humane officer, I'm so excited! I'm hoping to find a place across the bay soon, but I really need to buy a car so that's what I'm working on right now... So yea that's me, I'm probably missing out a lot, but whatever.
