I'm just another singer-songwriter from south Texas that writes kick ass songs and is entertaining as hell. I went to the College of Santa Fe in New Mexico. I have waited tables at the infamous Leon Springs Cafe, I helped build the southbound bridge and retaining wall over the Union Stock Yard, worn a huge heart while singing telegrams, and produced in local television since 1992. Music is new to me
and I'm here to learn all I can. And, if you want to hear me, I probably want to play for you!
I wasn't five years old when I picked up the guitar. My family hasn't been in the music business for generations. My first guitar was stolen. I have broken my ankle and been stabbed. If you want to see my scars you have to ask. Nicely.
I took the background photo of the ladies room in Luckenbach. There's lots of groovy stuff in the blog area.
The Fritters are me, KELLI KING & JIM BOUCHARD. Jim lives in Boston and produces the music, I live in SA and solve the lyric puzzles. We record and create on APPLE Computers using GARAGEBAND. I perform my original music locally.

Everything first begins with a thought or an idea which we begin to entertain and give place to in our mind. That thought then begins to take form and shapes the words we speak...our words in turn effect our actions...and ultimately, our actions will shape our destiny. Learning to control one's thoughts therefore, is an essential ingredient to living a victorious life. Your Friend Rhonda Kaye
NYC! That sounds exciting - you'll get to meet Fran - she's a total star and will certainly sort your bluebonnets out - if anyone can make them flourish, she can. Bruddabob lives in new Jersey and commutes to Manhattan. One of my ex-pupils also works in one of the Times Square theatres as the concessions manager (unlikely I know, but true) - it's the American Airlines Theatre - so mention my name and you'll get cheap popcorn.
I'm hopefully going to be in the deep south this summer, probably late August. Watch this space.
Darlin' , I have to be careful about doing miracles, the Pope's coming down here and he's got his sanctifyin' hat on. I can deal pretty good with Reverendship, but Saint Anthony? I can't dance that good. Get yourself a good stick, and be grateful you aren't our mechanic friend Warren - he dropped a gearbox on his own head. Sue sends her love. xxxx
When's the cast being taken off? You have to leave it on, itchy or no itchy until at least late August so that (exam and book payment gods permitting) I can sign the damn thing.
Sorry to hear about the bum wing, Kelli. No more clog dancing, I guess. And frankly, if it's a choice between doo or dye. . . I'll take the dye, thank you.
Honey, my husband Burl went and drank all the diaper money again so I'm havin' to recycle everything I can (Spam cans included)to be able to stop wrappin' little Ray Ray up in newspapers like some kinda two day old trout! But The ladies church league has been prayin' for ya and that derned leg of yours and Betty Warden's husabnd Goat says that if you wanna make some extra cash while you are ridin' your new wheelchair around town to swing by and mow his lawn! Says he'll give ya $5.00 for the job. (And if you do maybe I could borrow that for a pack of Pampers?) All my love darlin'--Wenda P.S. I want to put that darlin' "Fish Fry" song of yours on my page but it won't let me! So cute I would just love to share it with everyone!
Hey, people, pop up to my blog and sign my cast. You can also see my precious dogs. And the hair on my legs. You can also help me come up with 101 reasons to love my cast...

We can "wish" for things to be different in our lives all we want, but, if we ever want to see lasting change, we MUST make the conscious "decision" that things WILL indeed be different, and see things from that new perspective. Faith IS the "substance" of things hoped (wished) for. Therefore, if you ever want your hopes and dreams to have substance, you must develop an unswerving faith (decide) that they shall in fact be made manifest in your life. Rhonda Kaye
