About me:

I recently returned to work for the first time since my son was born more than a year ago. It's been good so far, but I miss hanging out with him all day. Oh, and I miss watching Conan O'Brien with my breakfast. No time anymore!

I have two dogs, Zeus and Zoey. They are Italian Greyhounds. They are zealously affectionate, high-strung dogs. They've been through three deployments with me, and I love them, even though they drive me crazy some days.

My husband and I are very different. We like different movies, have different senses of humor, and disagree about a lot of things. At the end of the day, though, I love that guy. He's very patient with my quirks, including my strange sleeping habits. (Ask him about the time I punched him in the face in my sleep.)

I'm working on my Masters in Human Relations through the University of Oklahoma. I'm really enjoying it, but that's probably because I'm a nerd. I don't know what I want to be when I grow up. I know at some point I'll return to work, possibly within the next year, just depending on what's available. I will be done with my degree this summer. Woo!

I miss my friends and family back home. As much as I'm enjoying our tour in England, I'm looking forward to going back to the States in 2011. In the mean time, though, I'm trying to make the best of our English adventure!

    hey! fancy a trip back stateside for the 4th of July???? we're taking our COT around then and Jackie is going to drive down with all the kids for a few days! that means were only missing YOU!!!! seriously think about it girl! you've done it once, you can do it again!! C'mon, imagine the pictures! imagine all FOUR of us having our kids all playing together at once! it will be the most beautiful chaos!!! just plantin' a seed....think about it! ;)

    Hey Kelly! She's on rice cereal now, but that's it so far. That's what is all over her mouth in the picture! I think we're going to start fruits and veggies in the next week or so.
    I can't believe she's so old! How is little Caleb doing?? I love looking at his pictures! He is so handsome!

    how stressful, my cats just had a couple teeth removed due to cavities and taking care of them cause of their pain meds, etc, afterwards was hard enough, I can only imagine if it had been for something more major like a broken leg!! My prayers are with him for a speedy recovery!!
