"The Western World" is a series of clips that I shot over the past 3 months during my Spring internship. I had the awesome opportunity to assist Tom @ Timescapes with his debut non-narrative feature film "Southwest Light." I got to spend 3 months on the road with Tom, and I can say that it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life! I got to see so much is so little amount of time, and I feel like I owe Tom a lot for taking me under his wing and showing me the ropes. Thanks Tom! In The Alley is a small series of clips that I've been shooting since I've been living in Los Angeles, CA for the past 2 weeks. All shot from rooftops, windows, and alleyways, and mostly at night near downtown. Shot on Canon EOS 7D w/ Canon 24 - 105 L series and Canon 70 - 200 L series lenses. Road to Los Angeles is a collection of short clips that I shot on my way from Oklahoma to California. The first 8 clips were shot various places that I stopped along the way, and the rest of them are shot from the rooftop of where I'm living while I'm here, at the beach, etc. This is just a taste of what I am going to capture while I am here for the next 3 months. Blizzard is just a few short clips that I shot on Christmas Morning in Perry, OK. A pretty big snowstorm blew through Oklahoma in Christmas Eve 2009, and the next day i just walked around my parents' place with the 7D and had some fun. Consume is a new idea I had for a video showing how much people consume things on a daily basis. America is known for pretty much having 2 big hobbies, shopping and eating. These are a series of clips shot mostly around Tulsa, OK that should give a pretty good example of how we consume life. Smoke, Fast Food, Grocery Stores, Libraries, Gas Stations, etc. It's all consumption. Shot with the Canon EOS 7D with a Canon 24mm - 105mm L series and a Sigma 8mm 1:3.5 Fisheye lens. This is a collection of clips that I shot this fall/winter around Tulsa, Oklahoma, mostly around downtown at night, but some day shots. Shot on the Canon EOS 7D, with a Canon 24 - 105mm L series lens and a Sigma 8mm 1:3.5 Fisheye lens. The last seven smaller clips were taken with my new intervalometer(stills, not video), the Canon TC80N3 Timer Remote Controller. I was just testing it out, so I threw them in.
